The Tuck 1 showing is underlain by an area of Lower Jurassic volcaniclastic rocks of the Betty Creek Formation, Hazelton Group.

A grab sample was collected from a poorly exposed quartz calcite vein in a gossanous outcrop, located near a drill pad. The outcrop is strongly quartz-sericite-pyrite altered. The quartz-calcite vein contains weakly disseminated pyrite. A grab sample assaying 1.13 grams per tonne gold and 40.5 grams per tonne silver (B067527) (Assessment Reports 37435).

In 2017, Pretium Exploration conducted grass roots prospecting, sampling and mapping on their Bowser property, mostly southwest and south of Bowser Lake. They collected 2901 rock and 429 silt samples (Assessment Reports 37435, 37443). The Tuck 1 showing resulted from this work.

See Betty 104A 008) for details of the Bowser Lake property history, including discussion of property-wide geophysical work completed prior to 2017.
